Job Description
lastminute.com group is seeking an ambitious and highly motivated Performance Marketing Lead (SEM) to join our team.
The Performance Marketing Lead (SEM) will work closely with the Head of SEM, responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing strategies across our brands and products, with a focus on SEM channels. The role involves aligning marketing and business goals using tools like Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other performance marketing platforms.
The candidate will oversee daily SEM operations and performance metrics for multiple markets and account managers, liaising with various teams and taking full ownership of strategy and coordination for key products and projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop customer acquisition strategies for SEM across different products.
* Monitor daily sales, profitability, and targets.
* Generate performance reports and insights, promoting innovative ideas.
* Coordinate with product owners to craft effective SEM strategies.
* Identify growth opportunities, test hypotheses, and scale successful campaigns.
* Proactively monitor competitive metrics.
* Design and implement app and mobile marketing strategies.
* Develop automation solutions for operational efficiency.
* Prepare annual forecasts and target estimations.
Skills and Experience
* At least 5 years of proven performance marketing experience, with a focus on SEM.
* Advanced Excel skills for data analysis from multiple sources.
* Strong analytical, numeracy, and data-driven decision-making skills.
* Experience managing large paid search budgets.
* Understanding of automated bidding strategies (Google Ads, SearchAds360, etc.).
* Collaborative mindset to work across departments to optimize campaigns.
* Basic knowledge of MySQL and BigQuery.
* Familiarity with A/B testing tools.
* Experience with DSP and DMP/CDP solutions is advantageous.
* Knowledge of App Campaigns is a plus.
* Secondary language skills in German, French, or Italian are a plus.
