Note: This job posting is for an Associate, Customer Marketing Brand Manager based in Madrid, Spain.
Location : Madrid - Spain
Role Summary Reporting to the Associate Manager, the successful candidate will be the point of contact for Local Sales Team (Spain), Western Europe Customer Team (Paris) and Regional Marketing Team (Switzerland). The role requires the ability to work in a complex, fast-paced environment with a high sense of ownership and the ability to relate well to different stakeholders, including remote teams.
The incumbent will support the Brand Manager in translating the Regional Category Strategy to Spain, develop a commercial plan for the different channels and customers, build and implement conversion marketing, and be accountable for Net Sales and Market Shares. This is a Trade Marketing role, not a consumer Marketing role (no development of new products or advertising campaigns).
Responsibilities Responsible for Net Sales and Market Shares for the given category in Spain
Translate the Regional Category Strategy into plans by channel and customers
Identify Shopper Insights and translate them into actionable plans to win at the point of sale
Manage annual equity
Build & implement Conversion Marketing activities
Develop and monitor campaign point-of-sale materials
Support Senior Brand Manager in building pricing strategy
Support Senior Brand Manager in building an accurate forecast via the local S&OP process
Develop Trade Presentations leveraging regional materials
For main customers, build tailored growth plans leveraging assortment, promotions, merchandising and Marketing activation
Together with category manager, present innovation review to major customers
Requirements Business School Master or equivalent university degree
Min 2 years’ experience in Trade / Customer Marketing, CatMan or Sales
Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and oral)
Fully mobile, both short and long term
Proficient Microsoft Office, mainly PowerPoint and Excel
Previous experience in FMCG or in a Retailer is a plus
Previous experience using market data / panels (e.g. AC Nielsen)
Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a complex environment
Drive for results with high degree of initiative and speed
Strong Presentation and Analytical Skills
Organizational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
Team player, able to build relationships (even remote) at all levels and across functions
