We are seeking a motivated and proactive Assistant Marketing Manager to support and implement sales and marketing strategies, with a strong focus on the hospitality and sports tourism sectors. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who enjoys building client relationships and aims to increase brand visibility and revenue in both domestic and international markets.
Your Responsibilities
Marketing
Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns targeting leisure travelers, corporate clients, and sports organizations.
Support social media management and create engaging content to promote the resort’s offerings and facilities.
Conduct market and competitor analysis to propose innovative strategies and positioning.
Create, update, and manage content across online and offline platforms.
Oversee sourcing and management of merchandise and branded materials.
Coordinate and supervise corporate photo and video shoots.
Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels.
Collaborate internally to develop promotional campaigns and event communications.
Lead the Playitas Nature team, including setting and following up on yearly objectives.
Sales & Business Development
Identify and engage potential B2B clients such as corporate groups, travel agencies, sports federations, and event planners.
Support the creation of tailored proposals and packages for events, retreats, camps, and group bookings.
Maintain a structured sales pipeline and conduct regular follow-ups.
Represent the resort at tourism fairs and industry events to generate leads.
Work with reservations and operations to ensure smooth delivery of group bookings.
Monitor market trends to identify sales opportunities and promote cross-selling and upselling to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
Degree in Marketing, Business, Tourism, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years experience in sales, marketing, or commercial roles, preferably in hospitality or tourism.
Strong commercial acumen and customer focus.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Availability to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
Fluent in English;
German, Spanish, or other European languages are a plus.
Proficient with social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and trends.
Knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and Email Marketing.
Experience with design/content tools like Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut.
Highly organized, proactive, and team-oriented.
Passion for sports and active lifestyles is a plus.
