Overview
As Europe embarks on a large GTM transformation in which processes and tools are harmonized following the North Star recommendation, S&T Deployment expands its accountabilities to support the landing of commercial tools into the new Europe Commercial Ecosystem. The function serves as a trusted partner to the markets to ensure the right activation of the long term business strategy.
The Commercial Product Manager is responsible for the proper configuration of Global, Sector, and Local commercial tools to satisfy the GTM strategy in each market while following global standards on processes and tools.
This role serves as an ambassador of the digital commercial ecosystem in Europe (including SFA, Perfect Store, Image Recognition, PepsiConnect, Commercial Reporting, and Account IQ). It partners closely with the Commercial Growth Group and S&T Global Product Owners to ensure that globally defined GTM models, processes, capabilities, data objects, and metrics are properly landed and configured to meet the needs and characteristics of European business units.
Additionally, the Commercial Product Manager plays a critical role in the implementation of the Global B2B solution in EMEA by contributing to its design and deployment across markets as a subject matter expert and by securing governance of the harmonized model over time. The role also oversees sustain operations for legacy technologies and develops and executes new setups and processes for new programs.
Responsibilities
Delivery, Governance & Value Realization
* Serves as the European ambassador for the digital commercial ecosystem, championing its value, driving adoption, and providing insights to enhance effectiveness across markets
* Owns end to end configuration of commercial digital tools and capabilities in Europe, including identifying and managing cross program integration points, dependencies, and risks, and driving alignment on roadmaps, sequencing, and release calendars
* Oversees the setup and continuous refinement of digital commercial tools to support GTM strategies across European markets, ensuring configurations meet both global standards and local nuances
* Acts as a subject matter expert with a deep understanding of harmonized European processes and how they are enabled by digital solutions
* Serves as the focal point for Europe commercial digital tools for business units and global S&T and commercial teams, maintaining a clear understanding of tool configurations across personas
* Acts as data steward for GTM data objects, ensuring markets adopt the globally defined framework while supporting Product Owners during MU transformations
* Acts as the key liaison between global S&T teams and European commercial teams, translating global frameworks into actionable, market specific solutions while fostering alignment and buy in
* Contributes as a key member during the design phase by translating approved business requirements and processes into digital capabilities and features
* Leads a team of Product Owners who are fully involved in operating activities of product implementations and who own the detailed configuration for each persona
* Supports the build and test of new products and capabilities within the commercial ecosystem
* Maintains accurate tracking of GTM models, persona definitions, executed processes, and required capabilities across all end to end journeys in Europe
* Ensures sustainable standardization by managing market demand through change management governance, providing inputs to CGG and Global S&T, and guiding deployment teams during implementation
* Establishes and executes delivery governance, performance management, and reporting to ensure commitments, timelines, and business outcomes are met
* Monitors progress across change management, adoption, value realization, and technical delivery, proactively managing risks, issues, and dependencies
Sustain Excellence
* Accountable for overall solution service performance, including SLAs and incident, problem, and change management, leveraging ServiceNow as the core service management platform
* Defines, tracks, and governs service and delivery KPIs with vendors and partners to ensure operational stability and continuous improvement
* Coordinates continuous improvement delivery and release management across multiple commercial platforms, ensuring predictable and scalable time to market
* Onboards new commercial solutions into the sustain ecosystem
Qualifications
* 10+ years of professional experience in IT delivery, product, or program management
* Strong experience delivering enterprise Commercial platforms in multi market European environments
* Proven experience operating within Agile, SAFe, and DevSecOps delivery models
* Experience working in global transformation programs with complex enterprise dependencies (e.g. SAP programs)
* Good written and verbal communication in English
