We are creating an embedded accounting proposition that enables organisations serving small businesses to integrate accounting functionality directly into their platforms — creating seamless experiences and real customer value.
As Business Development Lead (Spain), you will play a central role in launching and scaling this new business in the Spanish market. This is a senior individual contributor role with full ownership of the partnership lifecycle — from market mapping and prospect engagement to solution co-design, commercial negotiation, and successful launch.
What You’ll Do
- Identify, develop, and close strategic partnerships with banks, fintechs, and SaaS platforms serving small businesses in Spain
- Own the full business development lifecycle: origination → discovery → solution shaping → negotiation → signed agreement → launch
- Educate prospective partners on the value of embedded accounting and build compelling commercial cases
- Co‑design partnership models that create value for both partners and their SME customers
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities
- Collaborate with product, technical, and subject matter experts to bring partnerships to life
- Contribute to go‑to‑market strategy and help refine our value proposition based on market feedback
