Category Marketing Manager North America, RBSWe are seeking an experienced and strategic North America Category Marketing Lead to drive storefront excellence across key priority categories. This role requires a dynamic leader who can influence senior stakeholders, manage cross‐functional partnerships, and deliver measurable results in a fast‐paced, global environment.
As a Category Marketing Lead, you will own the North America category marketing charter, defining storefront strategies and delivering measurable results across Beauty, Premium Beauty, Electronics & Entertainment, and Pets. You will lead cross‐functional collaboration with regional stakeholders and central marketing teams, influencing senior leadership (L+2) through data‐driven insights, and manage end‐to‐end execution of merchandising experiments, event wireframes, BxGY campaigns, and High‐Value Event optimizations to enhance customer experience and achieve ambitious business goals.
Work Schedule: This position requires night shift hours (7:00 PM - 3:00 AM IST) to enable real‐time coordination and collaboration with US‐based stakeholders and teams.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Ownership: Own the North America category marketing charter, set vision and drive execution across Beauty, Premium Beauty, Electronics & Entertainment, and Pets; lead storefront strategy for key priority storefronts, define success metrics, set ambitious goals, and track progress against targets.
Co‐own experimentation roadmaps for merchandising‐related weblab experiments, managing the full life cycle from hypothesis to analysis.
Stakeholder Management & Influence: Collaborate with regional stakeholders across North America to align on priorities and ensure seamless execution; influence senior leadership (L+2) without authority, presenting data‐driven recommendations and securing buy‐in; maintain exceptional communication clarity and uphold the highest standards of stakeholder management across all interactions.
Coordinate closely with the North America central marketing team and Regional Category Marketing Managers to ensure alignment and operational excellence.
Tactical Execution & Operations: Outline wireframes for key storefronts during major events, Tier 1, and Tier 2 initiatives; support BxGY campaign setups, ensuring flawless execution and customer experience; manage High‐Value Event flips and refreshes, tracking performance and optimizing outcomes.

The team serves as the execution arm for Amazon's Retail business, enabling stakeholders to focus on strategic initiatives by managing high‐volume operational tasks across catalog management, defect elimination, selection optimization, and process support.

The RBS team operates globally across multiple regions (North America, Europe, Brazil, Mexico, China, Japan) and partners closely with Site Merchandisers, Category Marketing Managers, Marketplace Consultants, and Retail teams to ensure seamless execution and operational excellence.
Basic Qualifications
4+ years of professional non‐internship marketing experience
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
Experience building, executing and scaling cross‐functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
Experience producing marketing promotional material for Owned & Operated channels
Experience creating brand marketing content
Experience with A/B testing, especially around audience segmentation and targeting
Experience managing budgets
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
