The responsibilities will encompass strategic planning of Bill of Materials for raw materials, supplier sourcing, negotiation, tendering, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure a robust and agile supply chain that meets the evolving needs of our stakeholders, business and regulatory environment.Additionally, Senior Category buyer Raw materials will lead the entire purchase to pay process covering not only the strategic phase but also purchase order management.Key responsibilitiesBe the global expert in the spend categories within scope of responsibility related to Raw materialsStrategy definition: Data analysis, market analysis, spend analysis and budget monitoring. Stay up to date on market trends and new regulations in the pharmaceutical industry and ensure selected suppliers comply with required quality standards and current regulationsSearch, analyse, evaluate, and select suppliers for new R&D projects. Collaboration with preferred partners to accelerate product development, to increase the speed to market and to have the right cost base and manufacturability when launches are actualized and commercial.Participate in the planning and execution of purchasing strategies to optimize costs.
