About the Role:
We're looking for a talented and versatile Analytics Engineer to join our client's high-impact data team. You'll work at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and business strategy-designing scalable data models, automating data workflows, and enabling insights that drive decisions across the organization. If you're passionate about transforming raw data into meaningful narratives and building the data infrastructure to support them, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and optimize scalable data models and transformation pipelines using dbt and SQL.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Scientists, Engineers, and Product teams to deliver trustworthy datasets and impactful insights.
Develop and maintain ELT workflows and automate data pipelines using tools like Airflow, AWS Lambda, and S3.
Enable self-service analytics by developing robust semantic layers in tools like Looker.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and translate them into scalable data solutions.
Contribute to the deployment and monitoring of ML models using FastAPI, PyTorch, or similar frameworks as needed.
Advocate for data quality, governance, and best practices across the organization.
Required Skills & Experience:
7+ years of experience in data/analytics roles, with a strong focus on SQL, Python, and dbt.
Proven track record working with modern data stacks and cloud environments (preferably AWS).
Strong analytical and statistical foundation, with experience in Bayesian statistics, A/B testing, and causal inference.
Experience deploying data applications and services using FastAPI, Docker, and Terraform.
Hands-on experience with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Plotly).
Ability to work independently and manage end-to-end projects with minimal oversight.
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
Nice to Have:
Experience with MLflow, PyMC, or other model-tracking and probabilistic programming tools.
Knowledge of agile development methodologies and version control best practices.
Why You'll Love This Role:
Join a forward-thinking company that treats data as a first-class citizen.
Work on meaningful, high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment.
Enjoy flexibility with remote work and a collaborative team culture.
Competitive compensation package and long-term career growth opportunities.
