Responsibilities
* Record and classify accounting transactions in the general ledger (income, expenses, assets, liabilities, etc.).
* Prepare and review balance sheets, financial statements, and monthly, quarterly, and annual closing reports.
* Reconcile bank accounts and customer/supplier accounts, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
* Manage invoicing and control of collections and payments, ensuring correct VAT application and compliance with tax regulations.
* Support the preparation of tax declarations, such as VAT, income tax, and corporate tax.
* Maintain up‑to‑date accounting and financial documentation, both physical and digital.
* Collaborate with internal and external audits, providing accounting data and supporting documents as required.
* Assist in preparing financial forecasts and reports.
* Monitor inventories and fixed assets, performing the corresponding accounting entries and adjustments.
* Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations, and with company internal policies.
Qualifications
* Proficient or bilingual level of Spanish and advanced English.
* 2–3 years proven experience in a similar role.
* Strong sense of responsibility.
* Initiative to take ownership of accounting tasks and act as a positive driver of change.
* Team‑oriented mindset and good collaboration skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
