What We're Looking For

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Helpdesk Engineer to join our IT team. You will be the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance, troubleshoot IT issues, ensure smooth operation of systems, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide timely and effective technical support to employees via phone, email, and our ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Google Workspace, Okta, MacOS, and Mobile Device Management (MDM).
- Resolve technical problems with web services such as Slack, Confluence, or Jira.
- Prepare and configure new employee workstations, including hardware setup, shipments and asset management for the local office.
- Maintain detailed records of user requests and resolutions in the ticketing system (Jira Service Management is a plus).
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, user manuals, and system configurations.
- Deliver user training and guidance on Google Workspace and MacOS applications.
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement system improvements and upgrades.

Required skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support role with a focus on Google Workspace and MacOS.
- Strong technical skills and experience with:
- Google Workspace administration
- Okta administration
- MacOS and Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Troubleshooting technical issues

- Experience providing remote support to a distributed workforce
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with an ITSM solution (Jira Service Management is a plus)

Will be a Plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with Jamf solutions
- Experience with an Asset Management tool (Jira Assets preferred)
