Responsibilities
* Join a world-class team of Quantum and AI experts with an extensive track record in both academia and industry.
* Work with Fortune-500 customers from government and private sectors.
* Contribute to our groundbreaking compression tool.
* Tackle high value open problems from industry.
* Take on technical leadership and collaborate with software and DevOps engineers as well as our machine learning and quantum experts to industrialize Multiverse’s core technologies.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
* Hands-on experience in software engineering at junior to senior levels with a versatile skill set;
emphasis on frontend development (e.G., React, JavaScript/TypeScript), AI/ML and data science, backend API engineering, and QA. Focus on roles involving machine learning, data processing, and system deployment.
* Expert knowledge of Python and preferably other languages such as Rust, C/C++, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
* 1+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in developing and deploying software systems on the cloud (e.G., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
* Proficiency with Git/GitHub/GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
* Strong ability to work with APIs, design efficient application workflows, and integrate frontend-backend components.
* Demonstrated commitment to maintainable, high-quality code through best practices such as testing, documentation, clean design principles, and the ability to instill these in others.
* Familiarity with emerging technologies in AI/ML and their practical applications.
* Excellent communication and soft skills: a people’s person with the ability to collaborate with experts from diverse professional backgrounds, both in-person and through online resources.
* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Perfect command of English.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in frontend and backend development, with varying levels of seniority.
* Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, Lit, and frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
* Hands-on experience with Web Components, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
* Familiarity with Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, DevTools, and Unix systems.
* Strong skills in debugging, testing, and performance optimization, including QA technologies with Python (e.G., pytest, Selenium) and JavaScript (e.G., Jest, Cypress) for E2E, integration, and unit testing.
* Nice to have: Experience with React, Next.Js, server-side rendering (SSR), or static site generation (SSG).
* Familiarity with developing on and with LLMs, including tools and frameworks such as HuggingFace Transformers, OpenAI APIs, vector databases, and model-serving platforms.
* Experience with distributed computing frameworks and concepts, such as Ray, Apache Spark, or distributed training/inference across GPUs and nodes.
* Hands-on experience in algorithm development and optimization, including designing scalable and robust class structures for frontend, backend, AI/ML, and QA applications.
* Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams, collaborating with diverse experts both in-person and remotely to deliver innovative solutions.
