Position Overview
CUMULUS MEDIA | Toledo is looking for a Part-Time Production Assistant to join our incredible team. We're looking for someone who can put together more than just rip & read copy laid over a music bed. Do you have previous experience? Are you able to meet and exceed the need to work collaboratively with our on-air talent, sales team and cluster clients? Do you pride yourself on being a creative copywriter and possess the production skills to bring commercials and promos to life so that they cut through the clutter and jump off the radio? If so, we want to know about it
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
* Daily Commercial Production: create killer endorsement commercials – both on air and online – for mutually agreed upon products
* Participate in station Programming, Promotions and Sales meetings as needed
* Track commercial scripts and ensure all copy/creative is received and accurately entered into VCreative
* Coordinate copy with the Sales Staff and Clients
* Recording sessions with clients
* Assign Commercial Production through traffic scheduling system
* Write creative and compelling advertising copy
Qualifications:
* Understanding of, and ability to deliver, high-quality recording and production
* Skills with Adobe, OcenAudio and Reaper production software a plus
* Ability to work with creative individuals as part of a team
* VCreative and OpX experience a plus
* Excellent communication
