About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Live Visuals & Video Operator to join our production team for upcoming shows and events. This position is adecuado for someone who thrives in fast-paced live environments, has a strong creative eye, and is comfortable operating cutting-edge visual systems during performances.
Responsibilities
- Operate and manage visuals and video realization, during shows.
- Collaborate with Creative Directors, Lighting Designers, and Production Managers to execute the artistic vision.
- Prepare, format, and troubleshoot video content for LED walls, projection systems, and stage screens.
- Maintain and update media server sessions (Resolume, Disguise, or similar).
- Perform pre-show checks to ensure all visual systems are functioning properly.
- Support load-in/load-out and assist with video system setup and cabling.
- Work under tight timelines and adapt quickly to show changes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Video Operator, VJ, or Visuals Technician in a live environment (concerts, festivals, touring, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of media server platforms (e.g., Resolume Arena, Disguise, Touch Designer, Notch).
- Familiarity with video formats, codecs, mapping, and synchronization.
- Ability to troubleshoot video signal flow (SDI, HDMI, NDI, fiber).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability for travel, irregular hours, and show-day demands.
- Bonus: Experience with cameras, IMAG systems, and content creation.
- Familiarity with Cuban music and culture is a plus
