Location: Barcelona Office, Spain. You will be part of the Tax Department, reporting to the Global Head of Tax and supporting other areas (Tech Department) of Lexidy. You will handle international tax mobility-related cases as part of a multifaceted team that can respond to multiple questions.
Mission: Provide support to the tax team in Spain, taking on operational tasks from the outset such as preparing tax returns and handling procedures with the Spanish Tax Authorities (AEAT). Over time, progressively participate in international tax advisory projects and technical analyses for clients, primarily foreign-based. We are looking for a junior professional eager to build a career in tax with medium to long-term growth and the willingness to take on greater responsibilities within a growing team.
Responsibilities Preparation and filing of tax returns: IRPF, IRNR, IP, Form 210, Form 720, and other personal obligations.
Support in international tax consultancy: analysis of tax implications for new clients (residents and non-residents), preparation of simulations and basic tax optimization studies, liaising with the Spanish Tax Authorities, interpretation of national and international tax regulations and double taxation treaties, support in drafting tax reports and handling queries, management and follow-up of administrative tax procedures, and support in the setup and use of digital tools and automated processes within the department.
Requirements Degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, or a double degree in any of the above. If holding a Law degree, completion of the Master’s in Legal Practice is required (candidates awaiting the bar exam will also be considered). Having completed or currently pursuing a Master’s in Taxation will be highly valued. Previous experience in the tax field, even through internships, with a clear motivation to develop in this area.
High level of English (C1 / C2); other languages will be considered a plus.
