When you join us, you'll be part of an inquisitive team that shares your passion for exploration and discovery.Work Schedule: Standard (Mon-Fri), Environmental Conditions: Office.This role is a 1-year temporary Laboratory chemical product application scientist role, reporting to Technical support supervisor, based in Madrid.Discover Impactful WorkYou will drive ownership and responsibility for day-to-day technical support tasks, providing excellent services to customers and partners.
You will be the main contact for customers and internal partners through email and phone for Thermo Fisher Scientific Chemical product lines.Provide information and documentation based on customer requests, presenting changes or delays and offering alternate options/solutions.Respond efficiently to customer inquiries using internal systems and processes.Coordinate with other functions, such as Quality Assurance, to acquire required information and follow up where needed.Ensure communication and support are in line with corporate guidelines and compliance.Meet Operational Excellence targets by meeting Key Performance Index and Service Level Agreements.Accurately record customer contact information in the Customer Relationship Management system.Recommend and participate in process improvements.Keys to SuccessEducation: Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a similar field.Experience: At least 1 year in a chemistry or life science laboratory, with experience in reagent ordering and/or laboratory documentation.Customer Service Experience is a plus.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Proficiency in English, excellent communication, quick learning of digital tools, decision-making, prioritization, attention to detail, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.Additional languages, such as Spanish, German, French, or Italian, are a plus.Physical Requirements/Work Environment: Office-based (Alcobendas office in Madrid).
