At Iberostar Group we are looking for a HCM Functional CORE & Payroll Project Manager to join our HR Tech CoE - Global Human Resources team based in Palma de Mallorca. Responsibilities
* Act as a key expert for the HCM Workday CORE module configuration and deployment, including testing, validation, post-implementation support, collaborating with the global project team and implementation partner, with a link to the global payroll context.
* Collaborate with HR Operations teams across geographies to understand processes and local policies, recommend solutions, and configure Workday in line with the operating model for payroll or personnel administration contexts.
* Champion optimizations to increase efficiency and effectiveness of HR Operations and payroll; strongly collaborate with the HCM implementation partner.
* Testing & Validation: develop test cases with the implementation partner, conduct unit testing, and manage user acceptance testing (UAT) for Workday implementations and upgrades.
* Post-implementation support to the regions: provide post-go-live support with the partner to ensure system functionality and address ongoing issues, prioritizing CORE and payroll integrations.
* Contribute to the design of HR Tech process maps, capture process improvements, automate workflows in other platforms, create SOPs, global HR policies, and user materials for HR upskilling.
* Co-create and maintain a global HR knowledge base for HR operations projects with regions and cross-functional projects.
Qualifications
* Education: University Degree in Business Administration or similar.
* Experience / Background: 5 years of experience in implementing and supporting payroll systems and HRIS/HCM platforms. Experience with SAP HR, Totus, and Workday HCM modules is preferred. International experience in day-to-day payroll is a plus.
* Workday HCM certification: (preferred but not required).
* Skills: Strong knowledge of Workday Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Reporting; experience with Workday configuration, business process design, security setup, and reporting.
* Tools: Experience with HCM (Workday preferred, or similar like SuccessFactors or Oracle); Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office; SmartSheet or other project planning tools.
* Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English; Portuguese or French is a plus.
