Job Purpose:
To support the IPP Analyst team in maintaining and strengthening trading relationships with vendors and Product Marketing to obtain a competitive advantage for TD SYNNEX through professional inventory planning and procurement.
Responsibilities:
1. Placing orders based on profiles produced by the IPP Analyst team, considering logistics efficiency requirements (e.g., pallet, layer, carton).
2. Back-to-back ordering of products with no established run rate.
3. Placing direct ship purchase orders on vendors, checking order confirmations for accuracy, and invoicing customers upon proof of shipment or delivery.
4. Ensuring all purchase orders are within authorized limits and updating SAP accordingly.
5. Expediting open orders to maximize customer satisfaction and maintain high due date accuracy in SAP.
6. Supporting POD requests and queries as needed.
7. Assisting with vendor price changes by ensuring correct cost prices in SAP.
8. Managing stock rotation by obtaining vendor authorization references, raising Return to Vendor quotations, and recording them.
9. Validating stock returns to vendors per RMA procedures.
10. Supporting the IPP Analyst team in resolving logistics and finance queries within prescribed timescales.
11. Adhering to policies and procedures, reviewing and updating them as necessary.
12. Managing ad hoc projects as assigned by IPP Management.
13. Providing high-quality service, support, and accuracy to the IPP team.
14. Achieving set targets and representing TD SYNNEX professionally.
15. Ensuring maximum stock availability, minimizing backlog and depreciation costs, and maintaining optimal stock levels.
