Solution Architect - Commercial

Bilbao HQ Office
The Solution Architect will design high-level solutions and provide expert advice and counsel to business management and IT project teams for complex systems and solutions to support project teams and develop business programs.
The main focus will be on application development and maintenance for several complex application systems.
This is a role; so, you can expect to be in the office two to three days a week as required and should live within a commuting distance to the office.
In the role of Solution Architect, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Provide analytical expertise to advise business management and IT project teams about systems of the most complex nature.
2. Launch and execute business-oriented programs.
3. Provide Level 3 support for solutions in run mode together with Solution Analysts.
4. Review all RFI’s and RFP’s and check that they comply with the approved evaluation process, Sibelco principles, and criteria to select suppliers that best fit the RFP.
To be successful in the role of Solution Architect, you have to:
1. Master’s degree in IT or equivalent through experience
2. At least 5 years of work experience in a similar role
3. Practical understanding of industrial mineral industry E2E processes
4. Knowledge of Sibelco’s systems and processes: ERP (SAP), HR solution (Workday), CRM (Salesforce), Production reporting tool (MES), Planning tool (OMP+), Financial consolidation (Tagetik), BI (PowerBI, Azure BI)
5. A self-motivated team player with a proactive approach, analytical, and able to work independently.
6. Oral and written fluency in English and Spanish are a must.
