About BSC
The Barcelona Supercomputing Center – Centro Nacional de Supercomputación (BSC‑CNS) is the leading supercomputing center in Spain. It houses MareNostrum, one of the most powerful supercomputers in Europe, was a founding and hosting member of the former European HPC infrastructure PRACE (Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe), and is now the hosting entity for EuroHPC JU, the Joint Undertaking that leads large‑scale investments and HPC provision in Europe. The mission of BSC is to research, develop and manage information technologies in order to facilitate scientific progress. BSC combines HPC service provision and R&D into both computer and computational science (life, earth and engineering sciences) under one roof, and currently has over 1,000 staff from 60 countries.
Context And Mission
The Junior BSC Connects Program Officer will play a pivotal role in the day‑to‑day implementation, communication and coordination of the BSC Connects Corporate Engagement Program. As the program transitions from launch to full operation, this position will ensure the consistent delivery of content, web management, corporate communications and community engagement actions.
Key Duties
* Communication & Content Development
o Preparation and maintenance of written content across all program touchpoints: website, intranet, newsletter, social media and corporate presentations.
o Draft and update use‑case summaries, project profiles and training descriptions in collaboration with researchers and communication staff.
o Manage and update the Connects website and intranet, coordinating with IT and design teams to ensure alignment with brand and functionality standards.
o Create and adapt communication templates (emails, invitations, follow‑ups, onboarding messages) to support the corporate engagement lifecycle.
o Utilise digital content tools (Canva, Figma, WordPress CMS, Google Workspace, MS Office) to streamline design and communication tasks.
* Event & Community Coordination
o Help to coordinate logistics for visits, events and training activities related to the Connects ecosystem.
o Assist in organising Connects‑branded events (e.g., Spin‑offs on Tap, Tech for Impact, corporate visits).
o Coordinate with the Communication Department on visuals, agendas and post‑event summaries.
* Strategic Support
o Contribute to the development of new communication tools and materials to enhance the program’s visibility and consistency.
o Support the annual communication plan by maintaining editorial calendars, aligning social media messaging and tracking content performance with analytics tools (Google Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics, Typeform Analysis).
o Support the implementation of the training program (internal and corporate) by helping design course descriptions, collecting feedback and tracking participation.
o Use and implement project management tools (Notion, Trello, Airtable, Asana) to support workflow coordination and documentation.
Requirements
* Education
o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (a plus) in Innovation and Communication, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
* Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
o Strong writing and storytelling ability in English and Spanish (Catalan is a plus).
o Proficient in website design, graphic design and productivity tools to contribute to program development tasks.
o Excellent organisational and project coordination skills.
o Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
o Interest in innovation, science communication and technology transfer.
* Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience
o Familiarity with event organisation, graphic design tools or basic web editing.
o Familiarity with Microsoft Office, email marketing tools, Canva, Google Analytics, Notion and other relevant project‑management tools.
o Previous exposure to research, innovation or corporate environments and marketing and communications‑related activities.

Conditions
* Position location: BSC within the Directors Department.
* Contract: Part‑time (30h/week) with flexible working hours, extensive training plan, private health insurance and relocation support.
* Duration: Open‑ended.
* Holidays: 22 days + 6 personal days + 24th and 31st December per collective agreement.
* Salary: Competitive, commensurate with qualifications and Barcelona cost of living.
* Starting date: 01/02/2026.

* Curriculum Analysis – 40 points.
