Security Architect
Location: Remote (HQ in Andalusia, Spain)

Functions and Responsibilities:
* Develops security architectural standards, policies, and procedures.
* Develops and reviews the installation requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and related network devices.
* Ensures that, from a technical and design perspective, all personnel have IT access limited to their need and role in the organization.
* Develops project timelines for system upgrades.
* Remaining up to date with the latest security systems, standards, authentication protocols, and products.
* Collaborates with the Implementation of security systems by specifying intrusion detection methodologies and equipment; directing equipment and software installation and calibration; preparing preventive and reactive measures; creating, transmitting, and maintaining keys; providing technical support; completing documentation.
* Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.
Requirements:
* 3 - 5 years of experience in information security architecture and engineering.
* Knowledge of Network Security, Network Hardware Configuration, Network Protocols, Networking Standards, Supervision, Dependability, Information Security Policies.
* A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
* A strong working knowledge of current IT risks, security implementations, and computer operating and software programs.
* Excellent teaching, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
