What we are looking for:
The job of Telefonista/ Telephone Operator is successfully executed when:
- The incumbent in this position is responsible for answering all incoming calls originating from within and outside the hotel in a friendly and caring manner.
- Telephone lists are up to date.
- Ensures that energy and material saving policy is followed and waste generated is recycled.
- Maintains good communication with all colleagues in own team and other departments on matters that may affect in any way the operation of the hotel and the well‑being of guests.
Usual job responsibilities include:
Answer incoming calls from within and outside the hotel in a friendly and attentive manner. Receive and pass on messages to guests, handle guest requests, deal with wake‑up call requests, manage Home Delivery/Room Service calls, and ensure that service is provided promptly and efficiently. Keep the telephone directory up to date with new staff and departures, and be familiar with emergency procedures. Keep up to date with the hotel’s promotions, products and events.

Requirements
- Openminded, EU Citizenship and studies suitable for the position.
- Speak Spanish and English. Any other language is considered a plus.
- Knowledge of PMS Opera.
- Focused on service and highly oriented to customer and results.
- Knowledge and experience in 5 star/luxury hotels.
- Great knowledge of the island of Ibiza and its lifestyle.
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
