We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and guest-focused
Head Host/ Hostess
to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with exceptional hospitality skills, strong leadership abilities, and experience managing reservations, guest relations, and front-door operations in a high-volume restaurant environment. As the Head Hostess, you will play a key role in creating memorable first impressions, ensuring efficient seating management, and delivering an outstanding guest experience from arrival to departure. Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the host/ hostess team, ensuring a warm, professional, and welcoming experience for every guest. Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements to maximize restaurant capacity and guest satisfaction. Coordinate guest flow and table assignments while maintaining efficient wait times and smooth service operations. Collaborate closely with managers, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication and service execution. Train, mentor, and motivate host/ hostess team members to uphold company service standards and hospitality excellence. Monitor front-of-house operations and ensure reception areas remain clean, organized, and inviting at all times. Assist with VIP guests, large parties, special events, and private dining experiences. Maintain accurate reservation records and guest information using reservation and POS systems.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Head Host/ Hostess, Lead Host/ Hostess, Host/ Hostess Supervisor, or similar role in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant. Strong leadership and team management skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences. Experience with reservation management systems and POS platforms. Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional under pressure. Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Previous experience in a Spanish, Mediterranean, or upscale dining environment is a plus. Fluent English required; Spanish is highly valued.
