Summary: We are looking for a Human Resources Director with extensive experience in industrial environments (factories) for one of our clients in the industrial sector in Madrid. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the HR department, being part of the Management Committee, and ensuring that best practices are implemented and the organization’s goals are met. Reporting to the Corporate HR Management and the CEO in Spain, and managing a team, the selected individual will be responsible for:
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement human resources policies and procedures aligned with the corporate business strategy.
2. Oversee the complete administration, hiring, and training of plant personnel, as well as the management of labor relations in the factories (personnel management, payroll, training, occupational safety, and internal communications).
3. Liaise with unions and ensure compliance with labor regulations, as well as oversee all legal matters.
4. Manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to ensure the attraction of the right talent.
5. Supervise performance management and professional development of staff, utilizing appropriate assessment tools and metrics.
6. Facilitate continuous training and development for employees by identifying training needs.
7. Act as a liaison between management and employees, promoting a positive work environment and resolving labor conflicts.
8. Conduct data analysis and reporting on HR metrics to inform strategic decisions.
9. Ensure compliance with labor regulations and internal policies.
Requirements (M/F/D):
1. University degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role in industrial environments.
3. Professional level and previous use of English, C1 Level.
4. Strong knowledge of Spanish labor legislation and experience negotiating with unions and employees.
5. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
6. Extensive experience in managing teams.
7. Proficiency in HR management tools.
8. Willingness to travel frequently to production plants.
