As Packaging Manager, you will be responsible for directing and managing all activities related to packaging development and innovation for home care and personal care products at the corporate level. To this end, you will lead the development, industrialization, and continuous improvement of packaging solutions that directly impact multi‑plant packaging and production lines, ensuring a balance between sustainability, cost, performance, and manufacturability.
This role is essential to ensuring that products not only meet quality and safety standards but are also innovative and sustainable, leading a team where you coordinate end‑to‑end projects to stabilize and optimize operations following investments in automation.

What are we looking for?
As Packaging Manager, you will be responsible for directing and managing all activities related to packaging development and innovation for home care and personal care products at the corporate level. To this end, you will lead the development, industrialization, and continuous improvement of packaging solutions that directly impact multi‑plant packaging and production lines, ensuring a balance between sustainability, cost, performance, and manufacturability.
Main responsibilities:
* Innovation and Development: Lead packaging innovation projects from concept to implementation, ensuring designs are functional, attractive, and sustainable.
* Project Management: Coordinate and oversee the development of new packaging under his/her scope, working closely with marketing, production, and quality teams.
* Market Research: Analyse market trends and consumer needs to develop standout packaging solutions.
* Regulatory & Sustainability: Implement sustainable packaging practices, reducing environmental impact and complying with current regulations.
* Collaboration: Work with suppliers and external partners to ensure quality and innovation in packaging materials and processes.
* Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with external service providers, ensuring services meet company standards and budget constraints.
* Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and implement new opportunities to improve innovation capabilities and speed. Own in‑house packaging and prototyping technologies to support early‑stage innovation.
* Quality Control: Ensure all packaging meets industry quality standards and regulations.
* Budget Management: Manage the packaging budget under his/her scope, optimizing costs without compromising quality.
MIN REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in packaging roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position within the FMCG or pharmaceutical industry.
* Bachelor´s degree on Engineering.
* High level of English.
* Demonstrable managing skills, communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Availability to travel.
