As a Field Service Engineer Junior, you will be responsible for carrying out installation, emergency repair, preventive maintenance, performing retrofits and upgrades on Alcon surgical equipment and workshop engineer tasks such as reprocessing machines and warehouse support. The role is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction by providing the highest level of service for the Malaga area. In this role, a typical day will include:
Responsibilities
Complete preventative maintenance routine as scheduled and per contract conditions, as well as emergency calls.
Test repaired instruments in all operating modes and demonstrate that repaired instruments operate at Alcon's specifications.
Install retrofits and instruct customers of resultant benefits and changes.
Responsible for customer satisfaction on assigned cases.
Ensures a high level of communication with customers, sales force, Clinical Applications and operations within the operating region, to ensure customer needs are rapidly addressed.
Responsible for controlling expenses within budgeted guidelines.
Support spare parts management, including the timely return of strategic spare part cores.
Strategically promote, educate and market Alcon services to customers.
Provide feedback to the sales force and management team and inform about any commercial opportunity.
Achieve technical training certifications to meet requirements and scope of responsibilities.
Service License agreement management.
Responsible for the installation and removal of new systems and demo environments.
Qualifications
Graduate in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering or Industrial.
Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering would be an advantage.
Highly recommended network communication knowledge or experience.
Similar experience would be an advantage.
English and Spanish (written and spoken).
Driving License.
Basic technical knowledge: oscilloscope.
Organized, autonomous, adaptable and flexible person.
