At LACUNZA IH we are looking to hire two enthusiastic teacher to join our team in San Sebastian .
Monday to Thursday, 12:35 to 13:30 (4 hours per week)
~Monday and Wednesday, 15:20 to 16:35 + Tuesday and Friday, 15:20 to 16:45 (5 hours per week)
We are looking for teachers that are versatile and are happy to teach young learners, teenagers, exam classes and adults. We have an in-house professional development programme and can adapt this to your needs in order to help you develop as a teacher and therefore be more able to cater for our student's needs.
Lacunza IH was established in 1958, we are a large school accredited by both International House and Eaquals, and we are also an authorised Platinum Cambridge centre. We operate in 10 different locations in and around San Sebastian, so we have a big team of teachers, directors of studies and department heads. We also offer adult exam preparation, general English classes for adults and business classes.
You must have a CELTA, Trinity TESOL, or equivalent teaching qualification
* At least one year of teaching experience using communicative methodology.
* Must have a C2 level of English
* Professional development: we offer and encourage professional development for teachers (+ Spanish courses if desired).
* A DoS to give you direct on-site support in your teaching venues, as well as professional and career development.
* Working within a team of between 5 and 13 teachers, some of whom might be less experienced and/or new to the Basque Country, and others with decades of experience, with the corresponding support they can give.
* Help and assistance with the Spanish paperwork for teacher with rights to work in the EU.
