Billing Associate Fluent in French will be responsible for:
* Supporting not only the assigned region, but also overall Billing and Disputes if needed.
* Coordinating with local finance teams, Customer Service, Sales, and Operations.
* Escalating relevant matters to the Order to Cash Supervisor if needed, to ensure regions.
* Establishing and maintaining good relationships with other teams.
* Ensuring accurate and timely account set-up and updates to enable billing, communication, and service quality.
* Generating accurate and timely invoices, and credit notes if applicable, for customers.
* Monitoring billing transactions and sending invoices.
* Coordinating and attending to client and customer disputes, coordinating with local teams and other departments if needed, and ensuring escalations are properly handled in a customer-friendly manner.
* Being responsible for the dunning process and bad debt management.
* Ensuring quality customer interaction while improving satisfaction.
* Participating in and promoting a culture based on collaboration, teamwork, accountability, and inclusiveness within the team.
* Working towards Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) objectives for the month.
* Identifying areas that will benefit from process improvements to propose to the Supervisor Order to Cash and supporting selected projects.
* Providing clear, effective upward feedback and reporting.
* Ensuring compliance with operational accounting policies and procedures.
* Ensuring the integrity of the financial accounting systems and controls under his management.
* Experience in Order to Cash, Billing and Collections or Customer service.
* Open to work in international environments.
* Working knowledge of OtC processes.
* French and English as business languages.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and develop relations at all levels.
* Flexibility and ownership.
* Team player in a multi-cultural environment.
* High degree of orientation in customer service.
* High School, Vocational Certificate, Post Secondary Diploma.
Preferred skills
* University Degree.
* Other European Languages.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Some knowledge of SAP preferable.
* Experience in a very multinational environment.
