People Director
Location: Barcelona
Salary: €60,000 - €90,000 gross per annum including bonus

We are a fast‑growing, multi‑site consumer food business expanding rapidly. We want a robust people function, standardised operational practices and a culture that evolves with growth. As People Director you will lead the human capital strategy, act as key advisor to senior leadership on workforce, culture and organisational design, build scalable people operations, standardise processes across locations and drive engagement, retention and performance in a high‑growth environment. The role requires a hands‑on leader who can operate across both strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and execute people strategy aligned with business growth.
* Lead recruitment strategy across operational and corporate functions.
* Embed company values into the employee life‑cycle and culture initiatives.
* Design onboarding, engagement and retention programmes.
* Develop competitive and culturally aligned total rewards and benefits frameworks.
* Standardise HR policies, processes and governance across locations.
* Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning and organisational development.
* Mentor and develop the internal People team.
Requirements
* Relevant university degree in fields such as business, psychology, law or related disciplines; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
* Demonstrated experience leading people strategy at Director or Head of People level within fast‑paced, multi‑location organisations.
* Background in consumer‑facing, hospitality, retail or similar operational environments is highly desirable.
* Fluency in English and Spanish is required; knowledge of French is considered an advantage.
* Strong balance of strategic thinking and operational execution.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
