Company Description: Ubisoft Barcelona, part of Ubisoft’s international network of production studios, has developed over 20 years of expertise in producing video games across various genres and platforms. The studio has worked on franchises such as Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon, Assassin’s Creed, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, and Star Trek: Bridge Crew on VR. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Texture Artist to work on our AAA project: Rainbow Six Siege.

What you’ll do
* Texture hero assets like characters and weapons.
* Create and modify high-quality texture maps for PBR materials.
* Maintain a texture and material library aligned with the visual direction of the project.
* Make informed choices and communicate effectively to achieve the desired quality and optimization.
* Suggest improvements and solve technical issues related to textures.
* Participate in texture production planning with your supervisor.
* Fix bugs related to textures and materials.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
* Experience in texturing, modeling, lighting, image processing, or related fields in game development.
* Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
* Knowledge of Substance Designer and other Substance packages.
* Understanding of PBR pipelines and texture mapping constraints.
* Attention to detail, color, lighting, and material settings.
* Good English communication skills.
* Ability to receive feedback and adapt.
Nice to have:
* Experience with 3D software such as 3DS Max, Blender, Maya, or Zbrush.
* Genuine interest in games and gaming culture.
