The Opportunity We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Regulatory Affairs Assistant with a scientific background to support the development of a comprehensive ingredient regulatory database for cosmetic products. This temporary role is idóneo for a junior professional with strong technical and regulatory understanding, looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and international environment.
What you'll get to do Assist in building and structuring a regulatory database for cosmetic ingredients.
Collect, analyze, and interpret ingredient regulations across EU and international markets (e.G., China, USA, Korea...).
Evaluate ingredient acceptability based on: Product application, Target population Existing bans and restrictions...
Review and interpret regulatory texts and official lists (e.G., Annexes of EU Cosmetic Regulation, international equivalents).
Work autonomously with minimal supervision, managing tasks and timelines efficiently.
We'd love to meet you if you have Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Degree in a scientific field (e.G., Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, Toxicology).
Experience: Entry-level or junior profile with some exposure to regulatory affairs
Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
Technical Skills:
Understanding of cosmetic regulatory frameworks (EU Regulation 1223/2009 and others).
Ability to read and interpret regulatory and technical documents.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Excel or database tools is a plus.
