What you'll be doing
As a software engineer in the CUE Print team, you will develop and maintain our print publishing system in C++, optimize existing functionalities, collaborate closely with developers, architects, testers, UX designers, and product owners, participate in code reviews, and contribute to modernizing the system architecture.
Key responsibilities
- Implement new features focusing on accessibility, performance, and maintainability.
- Participate in the full software lifecycle, developing and maintaining solutions in collaboration with product owners.
- Analyze requirements and write technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews and uphold high-quality standards.
- Focus on security best practices, ensuring compliance and data protection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for robust solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and practices in software development.
What you'll bring
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of software development experience.
- Experience with C++ and knowledge of current standards and algorithms.
- Knowledge of software architecture, optimization, and large codebase maintenance.
- Experience with version control systems like Git, Bitbucket, and Atlassian suite.
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in teams in an agile environment.
- Ability to set technical direction, mentor, and promote best practices.
- Intermediate understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
