We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Business Development division and help us improve people's lives. As a member of the Sacyr Concesiones development team, the Assistant Project Manager – Project Development (“APM”) will assist with the P3 bidding process from a developer / equity investor perspective on social and transportation projects across various regions.
Duties and Responsibilities :
* Coordinate and manage the P3 bidding processes from start to finish.
* Negotiate equity teaming and project bidding agreements.
* Engage with developer and lender advisors.
* Prepare RFQ submissions.
* Develop bid management plans for specific projects.
* Track project milestones and develop schedules with team members.
* Coordinate bid deliverables related to finance, design, construction, operations, and rehabilitation.
* Negotiate contractual terms with the legal team for agreements such as DBFM and Design-Build Contracts.
* Work with the finance team to secure project financing and coordinate with lenders' advisors.
* Develop project costing in collaboration with finance, legal, construction, and operations teams.
* Build and maintain relationships with partners, advisors, and clients.
* Report on bid progress, project descriptions, and market assessments.
* Support other development activities across finance, legal, and technical groups.
* Travel as needed for meetings and project site visits.
Requirements and Competences :
* Degree in civil or industrial engineering.
* Minimum of 2 years experience in construction industry production.
* Proficiency in Spanish and English.
* Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and pay attention to detail.
* Self-starter capable of working independently and in team environments.
* Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks under pressure.
* Understanding of P3 contractual frameworks.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
* Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* Experience with successful P3 deals is a plus.
