THE ROLE
The Client HR Tech Lead oversees the technical landscape of Alight’s global payroll clients. They collaborate with clients to understand their needs, providing guidance to optimize HR technology solutions aligned with their business and HR transformation goals. They stay updated on product upgrades and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation. They also support the Client Service Lead in enhancing client perception and technical delivery excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide end-to-end HR technology expertise and best practice guidance.
* Support client technical design post-go-live, including roles like Solution Architects and SPOCs.
* Coordinate client-specific analysis and communication regarding product upgrades and feature enablement.
* Manage cross-client initiatives requiring coordination at the account level.
* Ensure the technological health of service delivery and act as a second-level escalation point for critical issues.
* Identify opportunities for technical change requests (CRs).
* Maintain and update technical design documentation.
* Handle technical resource requests such as CRs and capacity increases.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with senior clients and internal teams. A solid knowledge of Alight’s standard products (Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HRX, payroll engines, time solutions, etc.) and their features, capabilities, and integration best practices is essential. Problem-solving skills and coordination abilities are also required.
