Experteer Overview In this role you will support the Operations Finance function to strengthen financial controls and drive value across manufacturing operations. You will partner with Operations to deliver robust reporting, cost control, and capital management within a mission-driven dairy group. You’ll optimise working capital and ensure regulatory and group policy compliance, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and reduce risk. - Produce weekly variance reporting for Labour and Materials and communicate insights to Operations and the wider business
- Analyse weekly Packaging Price Variance, Waste, and Distribution costs and enforce cost control measures
- Support Finance Manager to review and develop value-adding reporting for continuous improvement
- Provide weekly insights on Rework generation, consumption, and disposal with corrective action recommendations
- Develop forward-looking Rework reporting to aid tighter working capital control and risk mitigation
- Monitor inventory risk and NRV stock provision to ensure group policy compliance
- Partner with Operations to identify continuous improvement opportunities and improve cost control
- Deliver month-end Overheads for all Operations cost centres and challenge spend vs budget/forecast
- Own annual Budget setting for Operational Costs and support CapEx budgeting and forecasts
- Maintain relationships with Commercial teams to understand impact of commercial plans on Operations
- Support Finance and Operations with projects or ad-hoc requirements
- Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisor while maintaining dignityResponsabilidades
- Qualified Accountant with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Manufacturing experience essential
- Experience partnering with non-finance functions to influence decision making
- Numerate with strong attention to detail
- Competent IT & system skills (Advanced Excel & Microsoft Office Tools)
- Technical/analytical mindset with ability to organise & manipulate data
- Enthusiastic, team player with hands-on attitude
- Proficient in English language
