Product Manager - Hotel Global Connectivity Barcelona, Catalonia Product Manager - Hotel Global Connectivity Barcelona Barcelona, Catalonia, ES Job TitleProduct Manager - Hotel Global ConnectivityThe Product Manager, Global Connectivity will support the global connectivity team responsible for evolving Amadeus's leading connectivity network through driving integrations with key industry partners such as OTAs, GDSs, PMS, RMS, Payment Providers and other 3rd party systems. This role will review, analyze and evaluate client business systems and user needs. The selected candidate will articulate and manage the product functionality from customer business requirements to user acceptance. Your main responsibilities Product Strategy & Roadmap Planning Interface with key stakeholders (Partnerships, Sales, Operations, R&D, etc. ) to maintain the pulse of the changing customer and industry demandsSupport customer research and leverage insights to create product features, customer adoption & satisfactionSupport co-innovation with customers to validate customer value drivers, define features of the products (MVP and beyond), and prioritize based on effort and expected business valueAnalyze solution offerings of competitors and define the strategic positioning of the product in alignment with Product Marketing ManagementWork closely with Product Marketing Management, Operations (Customer Service/Delivery/Go To Market) and R&D teams to define priorities and releasing plan for new products or upgradesEnsure solutions (to be) released meet the users needs and product readiness guidelinesProduct DevelopmentEngage in discovery, design and solution to innovate hotel distribution connectivity including enhancing system performance, driving increased revenue and improving efficienciesServe as product category expert in the review and implementation of product initiativesCreate and manage the documentation of business requirements ensuring delivery in line with client and market commitmentsPartner with engineering to drive technical projects and provide leadership in an Agile development process, setting scope, and ensuring effective prioritization of features & stories, managing daily progress, and defining acceptance criteriaArticulate & Develop value propositions and key messages corresponding to problem statements, and articulate them into new product concepts or upgradesParticipate in Agile events (Lean Portfolio Management, PI planning, System demos, Inspect and Adapt workshops…) when applicable / requiredWhen applicable, fulfill Product Owner role or ART PM and work with R&D teams to maximize the agile teams outcomePartner RelationsManage 3rd party partnerships: requirement definition and prioritization, coordination of product evolution and other activities with the partnerMaintain strong relationships with Amadeus's strategic partners and stakeholdersCollaborate and align with partners on partership and performance objectivesMonitor objectives with partners through KPIs, reporting and QBRsAbout our ideal candidateExperience in the hospitality industry. Good understanding of the hotel distribution landscape and concepts such as central reservation systems (CRS), global distribution systems (GDS), online travel agencies (OTA), property management systems (PMS), revenue management systems (RMS), Payment systems, content distribution, channel management (push/pull messaging). Strong skills in customer relationships, leadership, and communication. Ability to travel for business trips. Professional proficiency in English.
