Commercial Project Manager Mobility Home Market – Siemens Mobility, Tres Cantos, Community of Madrid, Spain.
We are looking for a Commercial Project Manager Mobility Home Market. The role entails full financial and commercial management responsibilities for Mobility Contracts within the home market. The CPM is fully responsible for all commercial-related matters, including Accounting, Legal, Tax, Non-Conformance Management, and Contractual Compliance, and supports the Project Manager/Bid Manager as needed.
What are my areas of responsibilities?
* Empowerment: Drives own empowerment with signature authorization and project target agreement to manage the project.
* Financial performance: Supports the PM/Bid Manager in managing and optimizing targeted financial results with due professional care (e.g., project gross profit, cash flow, assets, and financing instruments).
* Owner collaboration: Acts together with the PM as owner of the project.
* Project lifecycle management: Actively manages all relevant commercial and financial topics in the sales and/or execution phase; ensures an adequate handover, analyzes customer requirements, and assesses their commercial/contractual feasibility within the home market.
* Risk and opportunity management: Manages and supports the PE Management in identifying, evaluating, and addressing risks, opportunities, strategies, and response activities.
* Accounting and compliance: Ensures accuracy of project books and records (e.g., SAP), and compliance with Siemens-FRG, Spanish GAAP (PGC), and national contractual standards.
* Customer requirements: Communicates with the customer’s commercial representatives and resolves commercial/financial issues; manages customer expectations with the PM.
* Project finances: Ensures accuracy of cost/pricing calculations and overall project books/records; prepares commercial documentation for status/bid meetings; maintains data accuracy (e.g., FC, MIKA, cash flow).
* Invoicing and payments: Manages asset management, initiates invoicing according to project progress and contract terms, and ensures proper payment allocation.
* Compliance and guarantees: Ensures compliance with Siemens FRG and Spanish GAAP; applies and manages financial guarantees, bonds, and project securities in the home market.
* Cost optimization: Supports the PM/Bid Manager in identifying and minimizing non-conformance costs and optimizing overall project costs.
What do I need to qualify for this role?
* At least 4 years of experience in financial project functions.
* CPM and C Certification in Siemens is a plus.
* Experience managing complex projects within the home market with a strong financial background.
* Knowledge of Siemens business processes, policies, and procedures.
* Experience using BA tools (e.g., Spiridon, Dash/Roccit, GREAT, EPIQ, PM@Siemens, etc.).
* Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
* Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English (written and oral).
* Former participation in company talent programs is a plus.
* Strong communication and coaching skills; perseverant, energetic, and creative; able to create and implement structured approaches.
