We are looking for talent to join a dedicated and motivated team driven by a meaningful project.
Your Mission
You will join a team of four accounting professionals and report to the Accounting Manager based in Paris, France. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from the Spanish accounting team, located in Barcelona. This newly created position aims to help structure accounting responsibilities more formally. In coordination with the finance team, you will ensure accurate accounting, timely tax declarations, and efficient data integration between our ERP (Sage) and operational system (Sige), and contribute to improving existing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable: Booking of supplier invoices through integration of Yooz into Sage and managing vendor payments.
- Intercompany Transactions: Assist in issuing intercompany invoices in coordination with the finance team and booking.
- Bank Reconciliation: Daily bank entries and reconciliation.
- Reporting: Complete the monthly reporting of the entity and ensure the reliability of the data.
- Analyze and challenge accounting processes in order to optimize them when necessary.
- SIGE to Sage Integration: Troubleshoot and fix import file formatting using existing scripts;
understand and maintainscripts for future autonomy.
- Tax Declarations:
- IVA: Retrieve data from SIGE, manage recovery process.
- Electricity tax: Quarterly declarations based on SIGE data.
- Local municipal taxes: Create access to portals, declare & pay when required.
- Future Project: participate in the ERP migration.
Your Profile
Hard Skills
- Background in accounting or finance (2+ years of experience ideally).
- Solid knowledge of Spanish tax (especially VAT, electricity, and municipal taxes).
- Experience with Sage (ideally Sage 200).
- Comfortable working with ERP/IT tools, Excel, and basic scripting.
- Familiar with data integration and reconciliation.
Soft Skills
- Proactive and organized.
- Analytical mindset.
- Able to work independently and solve problems.
- Comfortable with optimization processes (startup mindset).
Languages
- English: fluent or native level.
- Spanish or French: professional working proficiency (for internal communication).
