- ** Develop and optimize numerical simulation algorithms**: Collaborate with experts in **AI and scientific computing** to refine hardware design automation systems.
- ** Integrate EDA tools**: Interface with industry-standard EDA tools, **including Cadence, Synopsys**, or open-source alternatives, to optimize design flows.
- ** Collaborate with the community**: Actively participate in **open-source hardware communities**, such as **OpenROAD, FOSSi Foundation**, and **SkyWater PDK**, contributing to new tools and standards.
- ** Mentorship and leadership**: Guide junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
**Requirements**:
- ** Education**: Bachelor’s or Master’s in **Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics**, or a related field with a focus on IC or hardware design.
- ** Experience**:
- ** 3-5 years** in **EDA tools**, semiconductor design, or related fields.
- Experience with **open-source EDA tools** (e.g., **Yosys, OpenROAD, SkyWater PDK**) is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of **digital and mixed-signal IC design**.
- Experience working with **simulation software**, such as **FDTD solvers**, or collaboration on chip fabrication projects.
- ** Technical Skills**:
- Familiarity with **hardware description languages** (e.g., **Verilog, VHDL**).
- Experience in **RISC-V**, **PULP platform**, or other open-source architectures is a plus.
- Solid understanding of **numerical methods**, optimization, and **scientific computing**.
- ** Team Skills**: Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, with a passion for solving tough engineering problems.
**Bonus**:
- Contributions to **open-source hardware** initiatives such as **LibreCores**, **OpenTitan**, or similar projects.
- Experience working on **multi-project wafers** or open-source silicon fabrication processes.
**What We Offer**:
- ** Competitive compensation**: Salary + stock options for long-term growth.
- ** Learning and growth**: Access to state-of-the-art tools and collaboration with leading professionals in AI and hardware.
- ** Impactful work**: Work on **cutting-edge technology** that will shape the future of hardware and AI integration.
