Summary:
We are hiring a Commercial Director to lead our Sales & Marketing operations in Spain and Portugal.
Based in Guadalajara, Spain, you will report to the General Manager and be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and leading a high-performing sales and marketing team in the automotive B2B sector.
Key responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue, margin, and growth targets across the market.
Identify and expand new business opportunities across all distribution channels.
Drive customer acquisition and retention through targeted commercial initiatives.
Lead contract negotiations and close deals while maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.
Team Leadership & Development:
Build and manage a motivated team across sales, marketing, and customer service.
Design and deliver sales development programs to enhance team capabilities.
Set clear KPIs, and performance metrics to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
Strategic & Operational Excellence:
Develop and manage the annual sales budget, pricing strategy, and discount policies.
Leverage CRM systems, ERP tools and data analytics to improve sales efficiency and support data-driven decision-making.
Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (corporate, marketing, finance, operations etc.) to ensure strategic alignment.
Market Insights & Reporting:
Monitor automotive industry trends, competitor activity, and customer insights.
Provide structured reports and dashboards with actionable, data-driven recommendations.
Candidate Profile:
Minimum 7+ years in Sales Management, with proven success in team leadership, business development, and strategic planning within the Spanish and/or Portuguese market.
University degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and CRM / sales analytics tools.
