Head of Marketing

Our client is a deep tech semiconductor company developing a dedicated Data Processing Unit (DPU) designed to accelerate big data analytics and AI workloads. Backed by top-tier investors and having recently secured significant Series A funding, they are entering a high-growth phase and looking to make their first senior marketing hire.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on, strategic marketer to build the company’s marketing function from the ground up. As the first marketing hire, you’ll work closely with the executive and sales teams to shape brand identity, lead digital marketing efforts, and develop go-to-market strategies that drive awareness, demand, and growth.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute the company’s brand strategy and positioning in the AI and data infrastructure market
* Build and own the full digital marketing function — including content, SEO, social, paid media, email, and website optimisation
* Design and deliver a scalable go-to-market strategy for new product launches and key initiatives
* Create high-quality technical and commercial content in collaboration with product and engineering teams
* Establish lead generation programmes to support the sales pipeline and measure campaign effectiveness
* Define key marketing metrics, report on performance, and adjust strategies based on data and insights
* Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and leadership to align marketing with business goals
Requirements
* Proven experience in a senior B2B marketing role within deep tech, semiconductors, AI infrastructure, or a related industry
* Strong background in digital marketing and content creation, ideally in a startup or scale-up environment
* Demonstrable experience developing and executing successful GTM strategies
* Hands-on, self-starter mindset — able to operate independently and build from scratch
* Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to distil complex technical topics into clear, compelling messages
* Experience working closely with technical teams and understanding of AI, HPC, or data-centric hardware is a plus
