Senior Key Account Manager
(Account Executive Mako) leads high-value capital sales efforts within the MedTech sector, targeting C-suite executives in healthcare. This strategic role involves proposing financial solutions, developing business cases, and managing complex negotiations to drive adoption of premium technologies. Manage the sales cycle by guiding cross-functional teams, including post-sale installation and training activities at customer sites in Iberica.Collaborate with local implant teams, orthopedic surgeons, and hospital administration to advance accounts through the sales process of differential technology over $1,000,000.Navigate both budgeted and off-budget processes, effectively managing stakeholders throughout.Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers to drive recurrent sales.Cultivate new sales opportunities with the Mako Sales Director and manage leads generated by the company.Create, monitor, and revise lead generation plans to ensure a healthy sales pipeline.Inform customers about new products, services, and pricing;
contribute to new product planning.Provide timely reports on key account activities, forecasts, and other metrics as required.Attend sales training, trade shows, and other promotional events.Translate market data and financial opportunities to customers effectively.Promote surgeon validation labs and roadshows to facilitate clinical validation.Partner with internal teams and marketing to develop and support robotics programs pre- and post-installation.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, health sciences, business administration, or similar.Minimum of 5 years of capital sales experience.Experience in negotiation at decision-making levels.Excellent presentation and communication skills in Spanish and English (C1 level minimum).Preferred Skills :
MedTech & Orthopedic experience.Experience selling to C-Suite executives (CEO, CFO, COO) with understanding of hospital financial operations.Ability to translate clinical benefits into economic value.Experience working in complex matrix organizations.Role Details :
