Where will you be working?
You will join a benchmark project in the premium packaging, specialised in high-end solutions for Wine & Spirits, Gourmet, Home & Beauty, and more. As the Mk Project Manager, you'll be part of a vibrant, international team passionate about design, innovation, and marketing strategy, working closely with renowned industry partners, while being based in Spain (offices in Barcelona or Girona).
What will you be doing in your new role?
As the Mk Project Manager, you will oversee the strategic development, implementation, and day-to-day management of the platform—an international design and innovation initiative. You'll be responsible for project coordination, brand visibility, and campaign execution, while maintaining the highest standards of sustainability and creativity across all actions. You'll lead key partnerships and ensure flawless delivery of exhibitions, events, and communications.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and managing timelines for launches, events, and key project milestones.
* Acting as liaison between partners, designers, sponsors, and internal teams.
* Managing book production and maintaining promotional stocks.
* Overseeing the creation of marketing materials and visual assets in collaboration with agencies.
* Drafting press releases and maintaining the project's tone of voice across all channels.
* Establishing luxury standards for the display, shipping, and handling of design samples.
* Coordinating all elements of trade fairs and exhibitions, including stand production and logistics.
* Leading content creation for social media and digital campaigns.
* Presenting new ideas for business development, brand partnerships, and sponsorship opportunities.
* Exploring emerging technologies, immersive media, and design trends to inspire new formats with the internal creative team.
* Building relationships with key external collaborators and other media and design platforms.
* Monitoring and reporting on campaign and events performances and metrics.
* Creating and managing budgets, overseeing invoicing and expense tracking.
* Defining streamlined reporting processes with core stakeholders.
* Coordinating international support teams to assist with events, communications, and logistics.
* Ensuring all activities are aligned with sustainable practices and innovation benchmarks.
Who are we looking for?
* Minimum degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.
* At least 5 years' experience in marketing, project management, or event production.
* Passion for packaging, design, innovation, and sustainability.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple international stakeholders.
Required Skills:
* Excellent written communication and content creation.
* Proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
* Visual literacy and a strong design sensibility.
* Fluent in English and Spanish (C1–C2); Italian, French and German are a plus.
* Willingness to travel for international events and fairs (approx. 3–4 times per year).
* Driving licence and personal vehicle preferred.
* Ability to work from Sant Feliu de Guíxols (Girona) or Barcelona, with some flexibility offered.
