A RF (Radiofrequency) Architect engineer vacancy for an Active Antenna has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Madrid. You will join the « Antenna System Design & Validation Spain » department in charge of the architecture definition, design and development of Telecom and Navigation antennas.
Our department is now working on several European Telecom & Navigation systems. You will be in charge of RF architecture activities, supporting the project Lead Engineer and Project RF architecture.
You will develop your knowledge in antennas and participate in Airbus Defence & Space development in this exciting domain.
For Radio Frequency system/sub-system/modules/equipments or components, you must be able to provide sufficient detailed data and information about system elements to enable implementation consistent with architectural entities as defined in models and views of the system architecture and in accordance with the allocated requirements.
Verify the compliance of a detailed design solution toward baseline of validated requirements for a single system, sub-system, equipment, component, or module.
Key Responsibilities

* Produce a specification from product or architecture requirements.
* Define interfaces of the electrical or electronic systems.
* Produce system diagrams and/or circuit diagrams.
* Consider and design for electrical safety guidelines.
* Define test strategy and validate design.
Required Skills
*
* Educated to Master degree level (or equivalent) in Telecommunication or equivalent engineering.
* At least five years Antenna RF Design experience for Space applications.
* Good knowledge of RF Antenna Analysis as CST, System Vue, TICRA.
* Autonomy, reactivity and adaptability.
* Technical curiosity and pro‑activity.
* Language skills: negotiation level English.
This role will involve some travel for business within Europe and you must be able to travel accordingly.
