We collaborate in the most relevant aerospace defence programs across more than ten countries, delivering value on a global scale with an onsite presence in the USA, Europe, and the Middle East. /ppbr/ppWe are seeking an bElectrical Engineer /b to join our engineering team in bMadrid, Spain. /b /ppbr/ppbMain responsibilities: /b /pulliDesign and develop EWIS including wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and connector systems compliant with DO-160, SAE AS50881, MIL-DTL-38999, and FAA AC 21-99(0). /liliPerform wire gauge calculations, voltage drop analysis, and current capacity assessments. Select materials, connectors, terminals, and protective components based on environmental and performance requirements. /liliDevelop grounding/bonding schemes for electrical safety and EMC compliance. /liliCreate harness assembly drawings, wire lists, installation procedures, tooling requirements, and manufacturing documentation. /liliCoordinate wire routing through bulkheads, fairings, and structural members, ensuring proper support, strain relief, bend radius, clearances, and protection from chafing, vibration, and environmental hazards. /liliSupport prototype builds and production installations with hands-on guidance; verify proper EWIS component installation. /liliDevelop and execute test plans for continuity, insulation resistance, and functional testing; perform acceptance testing, quality inspections, and fault isolation. /liliCreate and maintain technical documentation including wiring diagrams, ICDs, installation manuals, work instructions, QC procedures, and parts lists. /liliCoordinate with manufacturing, quality teams, and suppliers to optimize harness producibility, reduce assembly time, and support procurement. /li /ulpbr/ppbQualifications: /b /pulliBachelor's in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering (Master's a plus) /lili3–5 years in EWIS design, wire harness development, or aerospace electrical systems /liliHands-on experience with assembly, installation, and testing preferred. /liliStrong understanding of electrical wiring principles, wire sizing, circuit protection, and EMC/EMI requirements. /liliProficiency with electrical CAD tools (e.g. Capital Harness, CATIA Electrical Workbench), familiarity with connector systems, termination techniques, and testing equipment (multimeters, continuity/hipot testers). /liliKnowledge of wire protection methods, composite aircraft EWIS challenges, and aerospace standards (SAE AS50881, FAA AC 21-99(0), DO-160, AS9100/ISO 9001), including lightning and HIRF protection. /liliAnalytical, detail-oriented, and effective in cross-functional teams; able to work independently across office and production floor environments. /lili English proficiency required, German a plus. /li /ulpbr/ppbWhat we offer /b /pulliParticipation in leading international programs. /liliExcellent salary conditions, commensurate with experience. /lili40-hour work week. /liliPermanent contract. /liliHighly motivating work environment. /liliBeing part of the company’s growth and expansion. /liliSignificant opportunities for professional growth due to the company’s rapid expansion. /li /ul
