Provide the means and the measures for designing and developing all the quality aspects of a software solution, both functionally and technically, in order to meet the requirements and overall quality of the intended solution by creating, documenting and testing an end to end test plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and the solution works as expected. What we’re looking for: * 7+ years in geospatial tech, 3+ in a technical leadership role * Deep expertise in raster/vector data (GeoJSON, COG, H3…), and tools like PostGIS, Mapbox, QGIS, ArcGIS... * Strong background in cloud architecture (AWS) and API design for geospatial applications * Proficiency in Python & JavaScript with hands-on use of GDAL, Rasterio, Geopandas, Leaflet * Experience with big data & distributed processing (Spark, GeoSpark/Sedona…) * Event-driven pipelines for geospatial data ingestion & analysis * Bonus: computer vision on satellite imagery, insurance domain knowledge * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, GIS, or related field; Master's preferred You’re someone who: * Communicates complex ideas clearly, even to non-tech stakeholders * Brings strategic thinking and a mentoring mindset * Collaborates well across product, architecture, and business What to expect being on our team? * Indefinite contract * Competitive salary * Flexible schedule * 100% remote and… desire to continue learning!
