We are looking for a bOperations Manager /b in Barcelona who, serving on the direction committee, will be responsible for the following duties: /ppbr/ppbMain responsibilities: /b /pulliEnsure compliance with quality, service, and profitability standards for projects in different business areas (technical units). /liliOversee the profitability of operational technical areas, ensuring a balance between cost efficiency and service excellence. /liliMonitor operating budgets and critical KPIs to ensure the sustainable growth of the company. /liliAnalyze and redesign current operational flows to improve efficiency and profitability through automation and advanced software. /liliAnalyze improvements in company processes and propose improvements through digitization and the implementation of new tools. /liliLead strategic meetings and coordinate area managers to meet the objectives set by the company. /liliOrganize and lead internal meetings to achieve previously set objectives. /liliDemonstrate a strong affinity for digital innovation and AI, identifying growth opportunities and driving the adoption of digital tools, automation, and AI solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and profitability across the business. /liliPromote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, guiding and developing cross-functional teams through training, coaching, and best-practice sharing to accelerate the adoption of new technologies and ways of working. /li /ulpbr/ppbRequirements: /b /pp-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences or related fields; MBA is a plus. /pp- Minimum 5 years of experience in senior operational leadership roles, preferably in pharma, biotech or consulting environments. /pp- Strong background in operations management, budget control and profitability optimization across multiple business areas. /pp- High level of spoken and written English (C1+) /pp- Solid knowledge of financial management, including PL oversight, cost control and KPI monitoring. /pp- Demonstrated ability to lead, upskill and motivate multidisciplinary teams through technology-driven change. /pp- Strategic and hands-on leadership with experience working at executive committee level. /pp- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-driven mindset. /pp-Excellent communication abilities. /pp- Ability to lead, align and motivate multidisciplinary teams. /pp- Change-oriented, proactive and focused on continuous improvement and innovation. /ppbr/ppbWhy working at Asphalion? /b /pp ️Permanent contract. /pp Flexible working schedule - Friday until 15.30h. /pp Homeoffice Flexible Model b(Barcelona Based) /b /pp⚙️ Wide variety of projects, new challenges and experiences. /pp↗️ Training and personal development program. /pp English lessons. /p
