You will identify and analyze information security goals and objectives, ensuring that our cybersecurity strategies align with business needs. Collaborating with business partners, you will effectively manage cybersecurity incidents and vulnerabilities, while coordinating with IT teams and contractors to achieve our detection and engineering objectives. Your insights will help maintain our risk levels at an acceptable threshold, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative detection engineering use cases that drive our mission forward.
How You’ll Make An Impact
Implement Siemens Energy’s cybersecurity strategy, ensuring alignment with defined standards and processes.
Collaborate with business partners to effectively handle cybersecurity incidents and vulnerabilities, ensuring clear communication throughout.
Coordinate with IT teams and contractors to achieve cybersecurity detection and engineering objectives, encouraging a collaborative environment.
Analyze and evaluate trends in the cybersecurity landscape, providing actionable solutions to mitigate identified risks.
Coordinate and enable the effective implementation of the Siemens Energy Cybersecurity Detection and Engineering Operations framework MitreAtt&ck ensuring use cases and playbooks achieve the goals in the Siemens Energy Cybersecurity Detection and Engineering and business environment
Prepare and deliver training and advisories to enhance the cybersecurity capabilities of our team and partners.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
Proficiency in SIEM tools and a solid understanding of the Mitre Att&ck Framework.
Experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux systems, as well as antivirus and EDR tools.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and security tools, complemented by relevant SANS training in monitoring, detection, and cyber defense operations.
Fluency in English (C1) and Spanish (C1) to effectively communicate with diverse teams.
A passion for renewable energy and a commitment to leading change in the cybersecurity domain.
