Mission: Maximize top-line growth by ensuring a consistent pricing approach across all regions and channels, with a strong focus on capability development - particularly in Niche Fragrances.
• Pricing Strategy:
Collaborate with brand teams to define the pricing strategy for each brand, including positioning for recurring products and new launches. Provide insights, analysis, and expertise to support brand decision-making, ensuring clear objectives for each product line.
• Pricing Execution:
Implement the pricing strategy across different geographies through annual price increases. Consider local specifics, competition, performance, and macroeconomic factors (e.g., inflation, exchange rates) to achieve consistent and coherent pricing across all regions and channels.
• Pricing Intelligence and tools:
Monitor strategy, ensure execution and generate insights to fuel pricing process. Improve automatization of process to ease both pricing decision and implementation by markets. Set up and calibrate monitoring tools (Dataseekers) and analysis tools (thermometers) in different segments.
What you'll get to do
* Lead, coordinate and monitor the annual price increase of the company in the different segments and categories. Ensuring global consistency in different realities per Region/Channel.
* Help Brands to define the price positioning of launches. Reinforce relationship providing them with the right intelligence and insights: price points, volume curves, white spaces... to leverage decision making process.
* Integrate Brand and Markets objectives to succeed in price strategy implementation.
* Drive pricing analysis by market and channel to understand pricing dynamics in each one: competitors’ movements, price increase, launches, promotional activity…
* Enlarge the department knowledge of segments and categories through market and channel analysis.
* Provide analytical support to commercial functions.
* Build local capabilities in pricing to protect and maximize the value of our brands at retailer level, through trainings (E-monitoring tool, Pricing Management Tool) and best practices sharing in commercial or ad hoc forums.
We'd love to meet you if you have
* Experience: +4 years of experience in pricing and/or business analyst in a FMCG company or a luxury company
* Education: University degree in Economics, BA, or similar
* Languages: Spanish, English and French (good to have)
* Competencies: Accuracy, analytical skills (excel advanced user), drive for results, communication skills (impact and influence), teamwork and cooperation.
* Position requires interaction with COO, Brands and Markets VPs, GM's, Marketing Directors so a certain level of seniority is required
* Specific Knowledge: Previous experience in pricing or analytical position
