About the Role
You will be the Financial Controller for Hofmann, reporting directly to the Director of Accounting. You are responsible for all monthly and annual financial reporting for Hofmann, both internally within the Storio Group and externally for financial statements and compliance. You will have a senior accountant on your team to ensure all accounting tasks are done accurately and on time.
Your Daily Adventure at Storio
* Prepare monthly financial reports for group management
* Work with the Accounting Service Centre to ensure all Hofmann transactions are recorded correctly
* Analyze financial variations from the budget and previous fiscal years
* Liaise with external auditors and coordinate all audits
* Supervise and prepare annual accounts for the three group companies
* Coordinate with tax advisors for corporate income tax preparation
* Help the accounting team with daily issues and provide information to support cashflow forecasting
How You Make Your Mark
* Lead and motivate your team by providing guidance, support, and performance management
* Maintain strong relationships with the Accounting Service Centre, other Entity Controllers, and stakeholders
* Manage budgets and control costs to ensure the service center operates within financial targets
* Ensure that all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures are followed
* Find opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency
What You Bring To The Party
* Fluent in English and Spanish
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong understanding of customer service principles
* Ability to solve problems effectively and efficiently
* A strong handle on data analysis to identify trends and make informed decisions
* Experience with Oracle Fusion, Navision, APRO or other relevant financial software
Extra Kudos For Experience
* Experience with foreign languages like German, French, or Dutch
* Familiarity with international accounting standards
* Experience with a global or multi-entity organization
* A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA)
