Technical Sales Manager – Plastic Extrusion Technology

Location: Spain (Field-Based – focus on Catalonia & Levante Region)
Sector: Plastics & Industrial Manufacturing – Extrusion Technology
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in technical sales within plastics, extrusion, or industrial machinery
Languages: Native Spanish and strong English proficiency (French is a plus)
Qualification: Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Industrial, or Materials Engineering (or related field)

Position Overview

We are partnering with a global leader in plastic extrusion technology to hire a Technical Sales Manager for the Catalonia & Levante region. This role is ideal for a professional with strong technical expertise in plastics and industrial machinery who thrives in a commercial role, supporting clients in automotive, packaging, and construction sectors with innovative extrusion solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive sales of extrusion solutions across the assigned territory.

2. Manage the full B2B sales cycle with industrial clients (component producers, packaging, construction).

3. Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.

4. Identify new business opportunities and emerging markets.

5. Negotiate contracts and agreements in line with company policies.

6. Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to tailor solutions to customer requirements.

7. Represent the company at trade fairs and technical industry events.

What You Bring

8. Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Materials Engineering (or similar).

9. Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical sales of plastics, extrusion, or industrial machinery.

10. Strong understanding of extrusion processes and customer applications.

11. Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills in B2B environments.

12. Results-driven, proactive, and comfortable managing customers independently.

13. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
